Everything is God Given

I write a blog about money a few times a year because I think there is a lot of guilt, shame and confusion around money in the spiritual community.

There’s this idea that you can’t be spiritual and rich, or if you are – you have screwed people over to get there.

There’s this idea that you shouldn’t charge for God given talents like intuition or insights.

But – last time I checked, all talents are God given. The talent to play basketball, the talent to write, the talent to sing, the talent to act, or be a doctor – are all God given.

For the talents to be fully realized, we must practice and learn and apply a ton of hard work, but nonetheless the raw talent came pre-installed.

And yet, we seem to have some block around certain types of God given talent.

The idea that a rich person can’t enter the Kingdom of Heaven is widely used to take vows of poverty, but what Jesus meant when He said that was if you WORSHIP money and make it your God, then you’ll never be happy.

But you can have a lot of money and still be focused on The Divine.

You can also not have a lot of money and be so focused on money that you forget your connection to the Divine.

Money, like everything else, is a symbol for energy. That is it.

And the more of it we have, the more we can help ourselves, those that we love and others.

There is nothing spiritual about playing a small money game.

I also don’t believe that when you are a healer or life coach you are charging for the teachings.

All the wisdom teachings are readily available for free on the internet. Anyone who has access to the internet has access to the wisdom of the ages.

When you charge for your services, what you are charging for is your time and the facilitation of the teachings.

Your time and your wisdom are very valuable.

I know people who went to college for years and years and have six figure debts that never learned the things spiritually.

What is that worth?

I believe it’s important to give away scholarships, free content and help those who need it so that personal growth isn’t just something for “the rich.” But I also believe that healers who don’t charge what they are worth are doing themselves a major disservice and as a result, a disservice to their clients.

The guilt and shame around charging money for healing services is a way for many practitioners to play small.

The greater your cup is full, the more you have to give away.

Are you playing small by hiding behind prices you know are too cheap?

Are you scared to step up and play a bigger game?

Are you running yourself ragged and capped at a certain income because you are afraid to raise your rates?

Are you triggered by the rates of other healers?

Don’t you think you are worth investing in? And also being paid well for the value that you add to the world?

What would your life look like if you cast those fears aside and actually did what you knew you had to?

I’m curious.

Hard Times

“Hard times don’t create heroes. It is during the hard times when the ‘hero’ within us is revealed”  -Bob Riley

All of us face tough situations in life, and we have a choice, either to look up and face the problem eye to eye , or step back, and walk away. The latter choice is what most of us take, but facing the situation due to any circumstances, let that be compulsion or the inner will to compete, & drive the problem away, is something that we all seek, but yet only a few stand up.

I do not believe that anyone is a coward, nor do I believe that all need to stand up and face the situation to fight back, sometimes situation just compels you to sit down and watch, many might disagree with this statement and say that It is not always easy to make an effort, until you have not even a percent of energy left to fight.

This whole drama, about challenging times or tough times is just left to perception. One may perceive his/her situation the way he would like to , for one facing the problem he might feel it is too gigantic, while the viewer might say, it shall be alright soon, do not worry ,everything will be ok , but the consolidation also just works for some situations. If the gravity of the situation is too high, words alone can’t just relieve a wound, in one’s heart. It takes much more.

“People need hard times and oppression to develop psychic muscles ” – Emily Dickinson

Time is a very funny thing, everything happens for a certain reason, and that remains a mysterious fact. People believe that it is called “Karma” , but I believe that this whole world is running on a set of principles , that are so delicately based and rely on each other that each of our action corresponds to the threads of that situation that triggers a certain principle, hence creating a reason, and a situation in which we land up in.

Therefore we alone are the creators of our future, Controlled actions can give you a better view of your own future. “Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment ” – Buddha .

We should focus on creating a better future for ourselves by trusting ourselves and believing that we can achieve something what we want. Everything falls on this planet, so do we, but getting up against gravity , is something that make mountains look so big, so should our actions be Gigantic and groundbreaking, It is us who can make a difference , and I am sure most of us look forward to make one .

This life itself is a challenge let’s face it & Never Give UP!

This sweet Love – James Yuill

I have just been mesmerized by this song recently …

Be, the greatest man in history
The greatest man that you can be
Just be

Walk, walk out on the beach with me
Walk out in the sea with me
Just be

All of the time you show me your love
Sweet love
And oh, how you know
This sweet love

Nights, cold nights wrapped in ecstasy
Those times still perplexing be
They just be

All of the time you show me your love
Sweet love
And oh how you know
This sweet love

Relationships in Turmoil

Yesterday Evening I had a chat with a friend who has a common  issue like many others , about forgetting the past and let it go. It is natural. People find it hard to let things go. While for some it may just take a few minutes or even a few seconds to let things go while for some it may take months – years even.

It is funny how a simple emotion “love” can cling onto your heart so strong that one forgets about all other things in life apart from his/her affection for the loved one.

People are not to be blamed for their situation at all, nobody can be questioned as to why did they fall into such a situation or what lead them to this day. It all happens, and it happens for the best.

Breaking up can be very healthy , and mutual , again it all depends on both people how well they handle the situation. If one of the mates is more emotional than the other, this leads to a state where the other person is left in a state whereby he does not know what to do.

There is no rulebook or a Guide to a healthy break up , no book an teach you how to overcome a breakup , it’s all up to you , how you train your mind to “FORGET” & “Forgive”

This may sound funny to most of you , but the key element of a breakup likes in Forgiveness more than the Forgetting factor. One needs to forgive first of all himself/herself of hurting themselves and their so to become “EX”, to train their heart to forgive the other person & after that , just be “IRONMAN” or “IRONWOMAN” as i term. You have to let it all go.

This does sound rude, but unless you do not let it all go away, nothing changes. you will keep looking at those old memories and fragments of your haunting past which will keep you depressed for a long time, and in some extreme cases, it even leads to suicide.

So remember to Forgive & Forget … Move on!  🙂
